News Anson Engine Museum 2017

We have been unable to update our website for sometime and so missed being able to report and comment on various topics, including the Pasing of David Edgington last year. He and his wife started the Stationany Engine Advertiser magazine which became THE magazine for the enthusiast of engine collecting. He is missed by all.

Rod Ellis our blacksmith, local historion, artist and reception volunteer passed away in December 2016. He leaves a big hole in our volunteer staff. And is greatly missed.

On a happier note a new website is curentley under constuction which should be easier to navigate and keep updated with news.

  • Engine Dating Enquiries

The museum can provide a dating record service for Crossley, Tangye, Mirrlees, Blackstone and Gardner engines; even then we cannot guarantee that we have all the records but will provide what information we can from those available. To help us help you, please download and complete the attached form.  We currently can only handle queries via postal mail service not email requests.
