Welcome to the Anson Engine Museum! Here, you can explore the fascinating history of the internal combustion engine.
In this section, you’ll find everything you need to plan your visit.
We have engines running every day the museum is open, and we also run steam engines every month.
We’re also happy to open outside normal dates and times for pre-booked tours and groups. If you're booking on behalf of a group, please head over to our club and group visits page.

Opening times
WE ARE NOW CLOSED FOR THE SEASON AND WILL RE-OPEN EASTER SUNDAY 5th APRIL 2026
When we re-open it will be open 10am to 4pm every Friday from 10th April 2026 until the end of the season in October 2026.

These are days when we demo our steam attractions for the public. All our steam days run from 10am to 4pm. Anson Engine Museum Upcoming Events days are listed below for 2026.
